EduCampus Welcomes NUI Galway as a New Client

EduCampus is pleased to announce that National University of Ireland Galway have formally agreed to become a member of the EduCampus client community.

In partnership with NUI Galway, DXC Technology and Ellucian, EduCampus has completed an agreement to provide a modern Student Records Management System (SRMS) solution, which will enhance the university’s ability to provide students with a digital pathway experience from recruitment to graduation.

In June 2020, EduCampus entered into a ten-year Framework Agreement (FA) with DXC Technology to provide a new digital Student Records Management System (SRMS) for its Institute of Technology and Technological University clients. The agreement provides for the managed support, cloud-hosting, and implementation of the latest Ellucian SRMS software platform. It also includes a contract mechanism for adding new EduCampus clients should any institution in the broader higher education sector in Ireland wish avail of services.

In that regard, NUI Galway expressed interest in drawing down services and initiated an engagement process.

The aim of NUI Galway is to replace their current student management solution with a modern student records management system. This platform will integrate associated systems and services thereby facilitating the university’s ability to provide students with a digital pathway experience that will enhance the student journey at NUI Galway.

This has concluded with the signing of a Client Services Agreement between Educampus and NUI Galway, and an associated Call-Off-Contract between EduCampus and DXC Technology.

Paddy Naughton, Chief Executive, EduCampus said:

“I amdelighted to welcome NUI Galway to the EduCampus client communityand wish to extend my thanks to all those involved in this project. This agreement reflects the outcome of extensive collaboration. It provides an excellent foundation to underpin delivery of the Student Digital Pathways programme in NUI Galway. We at EduCampus look forward to working closely with NUI Galway and supporting them with their Student Digital Pathways programme.”
