On Thursday 11 April, EduCampus welcomed the HRP User Group to the Ashling Hotel to discuss all things PeopleXD.

The event was well attended by over 70 folks from our client base who heard updates on a range of topics from EduCampus, The Access Group and TUS. It was a great day for learning, networking, and gaining insights for all who attended.

Gerald O’Driscoll, HRPUG Chairperson, DKIT Human Resource Manager, kicked off the event by welcoming everyone to the session.

This was followed by Denise Power, Project Manager, EduCampus who introduced Enhanced Reporting Requirement (ERR) and outlined some of the challenges faced in meeting these requirements by clients. Rob Gimes, Head of Product PeopleXD, The Access Group, then provided a more in-depth review of the challenges of ERR from a software development perspective and lessons learned. Rob also provided an  update on Legislative changes impacting PeopleXD software on the horizon.

After that, keynote speakers contributed their expertise and experiences :

Alan Burke, Pension Product Owner, The Access Group, presented an update on developments in the SPS Pension Referable amounts area along with preparation for Auto Enrolment.

Richard Walsh, Head of Support, The Access Group advised on the boundaries of support and provided a demo of a more efficient method of amending employee start and end dates.

Louise Doherty and Jonathan Moloney, TUS gave valuable insights into their implementation of Employee and Staff Requests and the benefits derived from it.

Maedhbh McDonagh, Project Manager, EduCampus outlined the learnings garnered from Gender Pay Reporting in 2023 and how EduCampus will assist to meet this year’s reporting requirement.

David Corway, HRP Programme Manager, EduCampus provided an update on the pilot and roll out plan for the much in demand ‘Timesheet Claims’ software, along with the planned completion of the Optimization Programme

Finally we wrapped up the event with our ever interactive and insightful Breakout Sessions, giving attendees a chance to talk with their peers on the items most pressing for them in their areas.
